The College Hall is a beautiful and vibrant room that boasts grandeur and elegance. True to the original architect's vision, the design reflects the spirit of the Greek revival period. Neo-classical in design, yet modern and flexible, the stately Hall has an integrated audio system and a range of lighting options. Restored to its original nineteenth-century décor and surrounded by beautiful gardens, the award-winning Hall is the perfect setting for private dining and weddings for up to 150 guests.
DINING PACKAGE
Our Gala Dinner choices use fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible and are cooked to perfection, with a range of accompanying wines to choose from. We offer a wide variety of dishes including meat, vegetarian and fish options.
Dinners include silverware, fresh cut flowers, candelabras and table linen as standard, as well as the personal addition of menu cards and directional signage created for your event.
THE FELLOWS' GARDEN
The Fellows' Garden is a beautiful space for a barbecue or pre-dinner drinks reception in the summer months. Looking on to lush gardens for an idyllic setting, this gives an insight into the Fellowship of a Cambridge College.
LOVINGLY RESTORED
2007 saw the restoration of the Hall to its original Georgian splendour. The Hall Restoration Project enabled much-needed repair and refurbishment work to be carried out, while offering an opportunity to restore the interior to a design and colour scheme inspired by William Wilkins, the College's first architect, whose neo-classical style is a unique feature of the College.
Based on Wilkins' bold patterns and authentic colours, the classical interior is striking with limestone floor tiles, under-floor heating, bespoke oak furniture and newly designed chandeliers inspired by the shape of classical Greek oil lamps.
